| Every year during Ramadan Period the Movement
holds an Annual Ramadan Tafsir Lecture in a Public Place or
hall on the Second Sunday in the month of Ramadan at which all
the branches namely Missions take part or listen to important
Topics such as Zakat, Salat and other relevant Islamic subjects.
The event is also used to solicit for Donations from invited
Guests and leading Muslims in the Society for the development
projects of the Movement.
The last one held on 17th November 2002 was a tremendous as
Eminent Guest of Honour for the day His Excellency Asiwaju
Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State was
in attendance, also in attendance was Alhaji Haruna Adekunle
Elewi, the Honourable Minister of State in the federal Ministry
Communications, as well as Chief Executive and Directors of
Companies.
The next Annual Ramadan Tafsir will Insha Allah take place
on Sunday 2nd November 2003.
