  CAMBRIDGE 'A' LEVEL  
 

Before the Schools were taken over by the Government in 1976 Anwar - ul Islam Movement of
Nigeria was running the Higher School Certificate Examinations equivalent of the GCE “A” Level.

With the return of Schools to the original owners in Lagos State there is no facility in place for the past Upper Sixth Form to take advantage of for their admission into university other than through the JAMB - Joint Admission Matriculation Board Examinations.

However as part of our re - engineering in the Schools just returned to us, Anwar -ul Islam Movement of Nigeria -Group of Secondary Schools has set up Cambridge “A” Level Programme to prepare Students for the Advanced Level of Cambridge University in England in Arts, Commercial and Science subjects.
The Movement has applied to be accorded the status of an Attached Centre to Cambridge University through their representatives in Nigeria which is the BRITISH COUNCIL.

The Programme is designed for the May/June and November/December examinations.

Classes for the November/December 2004 examination commenced on the 6th October 2003 at the Centre situated at Anwar -ul Islam Model College, Oniwaya Road Agege.
